Goat Witch

Inspired by the great Flanders Reds, Goat Witch is a blended sour red ale marrying 80% young stock beer aged in steel with 20% mature stock aged for over a year in Scottish whisky barrels. The result is a rich balance of sweet and sour with gentle oak depth. This base was then refermented on 200g/l of locally grown 2025 Scottish tayberries – a raspberry-blackberry hybrid that adds layers of tart, juicy complexity greater than the sum of its parts.
