Drops is an independent, local drinks retailer and delivery service based in Margate for those who get excited about beer, but also for those whose drink of choice might be a cocktail or a quality, non-alcoholic alternative.
We won't stock the brands who can afford to spend millions on tv ads and billboards. We value smaller craft breweries and drinks suppliers who do good things for people, the planet, and our tastebuds.
And we make shopping for those drinks convenient: we have a shop open seven days per week, we’ll deliver them locally to your door by bearded bike courier and we also send drinks nationwide.

Orders & Delivery

We currently deliver locally by cargo bike to CT9 and CT10 postcodes. We also deliver nationwide by courier.

For local same day delivery, place orders by 16:00. Otherwise, we will deliver your order the following day (or at a later date and time that you specify).
Nationwide orders will be sent by 48 hour courier asap after the order is placed (please allow 2-3 days for delivery)

Yes! Orders placed before 16:00 can be delivered same day.

Absolutely, just let us know when is the most convenient time to deliver in the notes section of the basket.

Once we receive your order, we will get in contact (by WhatsApp if you use it, if not a call) and agree a time to deliver when you are going to be in.

If you look under 25, you will need to produce photo ID (valid driving licence, passport, PASS card). We will not hand over items without age verification with one of these pieces of ID.

We will get in touch to organise another delivery time as we have to confirm the age of the person taking delivery and cannot leave items in a 'safe place'.

Products & Stock

We sell craft beers, ciders, canned wines, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and soft drinks like kombucha, CBD cans and prebiotics. We also stock a range of snacks including crisps, nuts and olives.

We have a good selection of local brands and prioritise small suppliers and breweries who produce delicious drinks and do good things for people and the planet.

We get deliveries weekly in order to ensure your favourite drinks are always available. If an item is out of stock, please get in contact and we can advise when we expect it to come back into stock.

Payments & Discounts

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

We offer free local delivery on orders over £30 and free nationwide delivery on orders over £60.

We have an in-store loyalty program using the app Embargo. For every £10 spent, you get a point - reach 10 points and receive a £5 loyalty discount on your next purchase.
We don't currently have a online loyalty scheme, but watch this space!
Returns & Refunds

If you change your mind about some or all of your order, you may cancel your order up to and including 14 calendar days after you receive your order. All the cans and bottles are unopened and intact and in original packaging. Collection cost of £4 will be deducted from any refund (this will be waived if you choose alternative items or store credit). For orders delivered by courier, you will need to arrange for the items to be returned to us at your own cost.

If you discover that your drink is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss a suitable solution. We can only offer refunds or replacements for goods that have been purchased from us up to 28 days prior. You will also need a proof of purchase.

Age Restrictions & Licensing

We have a challenge 25 policy. If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, we’ll ask for proof of age on delivery.

We’ll not be able to hand over goods and will offer a full refund (less the delivery fee).
