The Kernel Brewery’s Export India Porter is inspired by 19th-century recipes brewed for export to British servicemen in India, adapted with insights from Old British Beers and How To Make Them. Chocolate and crystal malts enrich the body while keeping a firm roasted backbone, and generous late and dry hopping—typically with bold American or traditional British varieties—adds bright citrus or dark fruit complexity. Deeply coloured, highly carbonated, and refreshingly balanced, it’s a historic style with a modern edge.
