A fresh, Atlantic-influenced red from Óbidos and Alcobaça in Portugal, made by Rodrigo Martins (Espera Wines, Desconhecida). A blend of Castelao (90%) and Touriga Nacional (10%), grown on clay-limestone soils with north-east exposure. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel after destemming and a short five-day maceration, then matured in tank to preserve purity. Bright red cherry and plum fruit lead, with a gentle herbal lift and coastal minerality. Light tannins and fresh acidity give a clean, energetic structure and an easy, vibrant finish.
