A Txakoli from Álava in the Basque Country, produced by Artomana, the region’s largest estate at 20 hectares, farmed sustainably with organic principles since 1988. Brief cold maceration is followed by separate stainless-steel fermentations with native yeasts, then two months on lees before blending and bottling. In the Álava style, it shows a softer natural spritz than other Txakolis. Crisp citrus and green apple lead, lifted by subtle saline minerality. Bone-dry, zesty and refreshing, with a clean, focused finish.
