Often referred to as the “mother of all tripels”, Westmalle Tripel set the benchmark for one of Belgium’s most celebrated beer styles. Brewed by the Trappist monks of Westmalle Abbey since 1934, it combines remarkable strength with elegance and drinkability. Expect aromas of ripe banana, gentle spice and floral hops, leading into a soft, creamy palate layered with fruit, subtle bitterness and complex yeast character. Rich yet refined, it finishes long, dry and beautifully balanced—a true Belgian classic.
